I’m wondering where this data came from? Is there publicly available information on TV ad spend by law firms?

  2. Charlotte says:

Being a law firm, they should know to cite their sources! I’d like to know where this info came from, namely because I’m doing a term paper on personal injury lawyers and their effect on medical costs.

  3. Deidre says:

Can you quote your source for these ad spend figures?

  4. admin says:

Unfortunately I can’t recall the exact name of the source. However, it was recorded by one of the agencies that monitors tv advertising spending. There are several such agencies that do this.

Charlotte – Sorry I didn’t list the source. I can’t say I had the thought of someone using my little blurb as a source for a more detailed paper. But, if this had been for a brief you can believe that it would have been in proper Blue Book form.

Bob – the info is publicly available. But hunting it down may take a little time. By now I’m sure that 2010 figures are out as well.

Also, take into account that none of these figures includes advertising that is provided by co-op companies.
